Vision and mission

Vision
Love and care for the weak in society is our Christian calling. Jesus’s words in Mathew 25:34-40 motivate all those involved in Jemima: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Mission
Jemima is an organization devoted to caring for people with mental disabilities on the Westbank. Local employees provide professional care, inspired by their Christian compassion. They work together with (expert) specialists from abroad, including the Netherlands.

Mercy and development are the backbone of our care. Within a warm and safe environment, residents are encouraged to develop their gifts and capacities. The rhythm and learning moments of daily life are employed to integrate care, therapy and learning by experience.
